Orbit, 2023 (mobile)
Rooted in collective memory, this permanent site-specific installation pays tribute to the site’s place in the history of Québec cinema, once a place of creation and gathering for significant figures in the Québec film community. Located on the grounds of Québec’s first housing cooperative, the work brings together a Corten steel plate whose form evokes the lines of the landscape and a mobile ring in white Ductal® concrete, whose movement evokes encounters, passage, and memory.
