Canopy, 2025 (Public art, Linear parc Candiac, QC.)
Conceived under Québec’s Policy for the Integration of Arts into Architecture (the 1% Program) and later adapted for the entrance to Candiac’s linear park, Canopée embodies the city’s motto, “Ma ville sous les arbres”, through a hydrophobic process that reveals the shadow of a canopy across selected areas of its nine Ductal® concrete elements when they come into contact with rain, snow, or other liquids.
